I don't understand why you continue to live there? I went to Geneva some years ago and besides the beautiful landscape, the locals are something else, when it comes to people of colour. I am surprised it is United Nations territory. I suggest you buy your boots online if you can. I live in the UK and that's what I do - every two years.
