Hi Mike, loved the article and really happy this is working for you. I, on the other hand am having similar experiences to yourself of going through Mindfulness, Wayne Dyer, Raj Yoga.. and finding out that they are not working. It may begin okay but eventually I’ll experience the headaches, later it will be the irritation and finally, the anger.

I’m considering stopping meditation as for something everyone is saying is sooo simple is proving to be the opposite! But — I found your article inspiring that I might just consider doing the TM/Vedic meditation.

It’s not clear when you wrote this article but it would be great to know if you are still continuing with it and what sort of progress you are making. I ask because there is so much negativity on TM from reading of people who have killed themselves to those who know someone who is now in a mental institution. I want to experience much more joy and peace and try not to be agitated about things, but I also want to protect my mental state.

I’m looking for a meditation that is safe and simple. Do you feel that Vedic Meditation would be better learnt and presented in its spiritual settings?
